Artists Statement--Please feel free to comment, disagree or agree! Words say little and expressions can tell tall
tales, but somewhere beneath all the array of
convincing smiles and wide eyed surprise is a
moment of absolute true expression.
The most powerful thing I can do as an artist is
to motivate a sense of wonder from the viewer.
When someone looks at a painting and questions
what they aren't seeing, "What is she looking
at?" or they tell me their perception of what is
taking place, I know the painting is successful.
I love to take someone out of reality for a
moment, and have them visit another space and
time.
Often, I start with a "mood" or feeling in mind,
but the painting becomes it's own entity, and
forms the personality it chooses. Then someone
else senses or sees something I never did. This
is what I enjoy most. Art should touch you
personally, and not have to be explained. People
should like art because of how it makes them
feel, not because someone else said it's worthy.

How does she do it?
Jenny Gini has a unique perspective of looking
at the world - truly, an artist's gift. One
looks at her work, looks away and returns -
there's something else there one didn't see
before! Amazing! Her art moves me and makes me
want to look again to see what I might have
missed before. She is always seeking what
cannot be easily sought. I don't know how she
does it!

My Birthday Gift.
Let me say I was so thrilled and stunned when I
opened my gift from your mother, Liz. What a
wonderful gift. Of all your paintings, this was
the one I loved most. I will cherish it till I
die. To have this painting in my home honours my
home. Thank you for being so talented.

Creative art
I was seaching on the acrylic WC site and saw
your web site listed. Your art work is exciting
and the way you use the colors in quite creative.
I really like the figure forms in the rocks with
a strong sky overhead.
My daughter Rebecca hand painted jeans and had
an exclusive store on the strip that was
interested in her work. She past away last June
24 at the age of 34. She died of complications
from Lyme's disease. Her art will live on.
Most of the jeans she painted were given to
people who helped her. We do have some
excellent pictures of them that was done
professionally. I am Night Dancer on WC and am
getting into watercolors and want to paint a
pair of jeans too, even though I might be a bit
old wearing them, but who cares. Good luck in
your art career. A fellow art lover, Lloyd
